She was born in Thessaloníki, Greece. Nora Loukidou attended the State Conservatory of Thessaloníki, where she graduated with highest honors. She won the first prize at the first Panhellenic Music Competition (1952). She went to England on a scholarship and continued her studies under the well known professor of the Royal Academy of London, Mr. Harold Craxton.
She has collaborated with remarkable Greek and foreign artists like Solon Michailidis, George Thymis, Vironas Kolasis, John Lubbock, Kurt Woess, Jonescu - Galati, Eliodor Rau, Sayard Stone, Wermer Marihart, Fournie Karol Struja e.t.c.. And with famous orchestras like "Filarmonica de StatArad", "G. Dima Brasou", "Filarmonia Hungarica", State Orchestra of Athens and Thessaloníki.
Since 1954 she has been an honored member of the State Conservatory of Thessaloníki.
