Biography
Arina Shchigoleva was born in 2002 in Saratov, Russia. She began playing the piano at the age of six with Tatiana Chubarova at the School of Arts. While studying at school, Arina won the Governor’s scholarship, the 2nd prize at the All-Russian Benditsky Piano Competition, and the Grand Prix at the All-Russian Glagolev Piano Competition. In 2018 Arina entered the Academic Music College at the Moscow Conservatoire in Tatyana Rakova’s class. During that period, Arina won the 2nd prize in the All-Russian competition Young Talents of Russia. In 2022 she entered the Moscow Conservatoire to the class of Professor Yuri Slesarev.
Arina collaborated with the Sakhalin Orchestra, with the orchestra of the Academic Music College. She took part in master classes of David Lively, Yakov Kasman, Philipp Kopachevsky, Oleg Weinstein. Currently Arina is the third year student at the Moscow Conservatoire. She often plays recitals.
