Biography

Salil Akundi was born in India in 1999 and began serious piano studies at the age of 15. He studied with the pianist Achim Clemens until 2019 and had masterclasses with the composer and pedagogue Peter Feuchtwanger. Since 2022, he has been studying privately with Noel Nascimento (student of Claudio Arrau) and Florian Noack. He has performed in numerous recitals in India, Germany and the United States. In addition to his piano studies, he works as a software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area, having graduated from UCLA majoring in Computer Science.
