Biography

Born in 2004, VERA CECINO graduated Summa cum Laude at Cesena Conservatory with Prof. Maddalena De Facci at 17. She is attending the Master at Padua Conservatory with Prof. Alessandro Taverna. Vera is a scholarship holder of the Liechtenstein Musikakademie. Vera is winner of the 10th “Premio Crescendo” International Competition in Firenze, the 8th “Premio Martucci” in Novara and the Second Chopin Prize at Rome International Piano Competition in 2023. She won the First Prize in international competitions for young pianists in Italy, Belgium, Serbia and Germany. At the age of 13 she made her debut with the orchestra and since 2018 she has given solo recitals in Spain, Poland, Switzerland and Italy. Vera is specializing in chamber music with strings at Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome.
