
Biography
Joon Oh Kim is a pianist whose versatility and natural expressivity have made him a very sought-after musician. Winner of the AIDA Fund award of the Fondation JM Canada and the third prize of the Concours Prix d’Europe, he has performed throughout North America and Europe. Also a capable harpsichordist, Joon Oh was a semi-finalist at the 10th Jurow International Harpsichord Competition. Originally Korean but naturalized Canadian from Montreal, Joon Oh studied with André Laplante and Richard Raymond at the Montreal Conservatory of Music. He is now studying at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Björn Lehmann.
