Biography
Born 1998 in France, Virgile Roche is one of the most versatile pianists of today’s young European scene. Admitted at the age of 17 to the Paris Conservatory, he won there a total of 7 first prizes: Piano, Chamber Music, Collaborative Piano, Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Orchestration. He’s been awarded numerous major prizes and awards both as a soloist and as a chamber musician, and he performs regularly at important festivals and venues in Europe and abroad. He is now an Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel (Belgium) under the direction of Frank Braley and Avedis Kouyoumdjian.
